The site needed to be functional for students, parents and staff and be easy to update on the admin end.

When this site is completed it will have a news feed on the home page.  A business directory and be available in two languages (English & Inuktitut).

Organization Details:

Clyde River is located on the east coast of Baffin Island, is sometimes called the “Gateway to the Great Fiords”. It was given its English name by the Arctic explorer John Ross in 1818. It also has the Inuktitut name, Kangiqtugaapik, which means “Nice Little Inlet”. The community is situated on a flood plain on the shores of Patricia Bay at the entrance to Clyde Inlet, a fiord which extends over 100km inland, almost to the tip of the Barnes ice cap.
The population of Clyde River is approximately 850 people, 95% of which are Inuit.

A basic CMS site allowing them to keep all their site updates internal.  The home page displays a featured slideshow that they can again update inhouse with ease.
The site also allows them to embed youtube videos, images and PDFs and anyone with basic knowledge of using a computer can use this system.
